Why does Apple make no sense?
I am a Mac user – I prefer Mac, but I get REALLY upset with Apple company policy and business practices.
First of all, why do they immerse us with online, television, and print advertising when they still will not allow most 3rd-party retailers to sell their products? Why don’t they accompany the advertisements with more locations where you can buy Mac software? My main gripe is that – in a city of almost 800,000 people, there are literally only 3 locations where I can go to shop for Mac software.
As well, Apple FORCES Mac users to purchase regular software upgrades. Most of the time, if you don’t upgrade your software or OS when Apple tell you to, your day-to-day tasks are likely to stop dfunctioning. Some hardware and software with Mac becomes totally non-functional when you don’t upgrade.
Because of all this, I still have to keep a Windows Pc around.
If Apple really wants a bigger chunk of the home computer market, why don’t they become more friendly to their customer

Dell is far more advertised and is just opening their first retail store. The reason both companies do this is to maintain control over their products, this is one thing that seperates apple the fact that everything always works because it is known exactly how it is reaching you from the factory or mac store, note the same does not always apply to dell.
